Sometimes a bit of the 'stupid' or ignorance can be beneficial! There comes a time when we should just act - take some risk - and go for it. Not being afraid to try 'new things' - over analyzing can make us too cautious to the point of freezing there.
Nothing is perfect and you can't expect to embark on something new and not face any unexpected problems along the way.
However, planning is still good and necessary - if you fail to plan, you also plan to fail.
It's getting the balance right! Just don't be a perfectionist or action paralysis will set in.
Be organized
Be focused
Avoid information overload (if possible!)
Be patient
Be open minded
Be serious - it's a business.
Be consistent.
To keep on a straight path I wrote up a one page matrix timetable - allocating times to do specific tasks - e.g. read PDF information, add to my blog, write articles to publish, add content to my site and so on. This certainly helps focus, staying on the right track and following up.
