MSI X-Slim X600 specs get detailed in full

We've already gotten word of some of the specs for MSI's new X-Slim X600 ultraportable, and gotten up close with the laptop itself, but those few remaining details has now finally been revealed in full, along with some fresh new pics of a hereto unseen black model. According to Notebook Italia, there will be two variations of the laptop available: one packing a 1.4GHz Intel Core singapore - malacca Solo processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive, and the other speed of broadband a slower 1.2GHz Intel Celeron processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive -- the latter also ditches the built-in Bluetooth. Otherwise, you'll get ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics on each, along with HDMI out, three USB ports, a net streamyx combo battery and, of course, that 15.6-inch 1,366 x 768 celcom broadband promotion Still no official word on a US release, unfortunately, but it looks like these will sell for €799 and €949 (or roughly $1,120 and $1,320) when they hit Europe at the end of June.

IPTV - OVERVIEW

What is IPTV?

The letters IPTV stand for internet protocol television, which is a technology for transporting data information and Audio and Video (AV), across an IP based digital network. This could include WAN, Ethernet LAN internet data center internet. With the addition of set top boxes (STB), AV sources can be streamed across speedometer cable adapter networks to PCs or TVs. IPTV can be one to one (Unicast) or one to many (Multicast).

The most efficient form of transmission is offered by Multicast streams as the bandwidth can be shared amongst streamyx combo modem of the users wishing to view that particular stream. Irrespective of the amount of viewers (providing the network is configured correctly), a 4Mbs stream for example, will only use that amount of bandwidth. No bandwidth is consumed if the channel is not being viewed.

Unicast transmissions are generally used for two-way transmissions - for example Video On Demand (VOD), only the viewer who has ordered the content receives it with this system. Some control can also take place such as pause, play, rewind, fast forward etc. Unicast can also be used for linking buildings via a WAN for cameras, TV channels etc. The negative effect of unicast on the system is bandwidth, as each viewer uses their own amount. 100 users all viewing 4Mbs of VOD will use 400Mbs of the networks bandwidth.

Why Use IPTV?

There are many advantages over RF coaxial based transmissions. AV streams can simply be inserted into an existing network and viewed with no addition to the existing infrastructure. Channels can be grouped and controlled to suit personal preferences. STBs can be controlled across the network or internet VOD servers. Films, local content and sport can be added for revenue stream in say a hotel, or offered free to a student campus. Streams can be viewed and recorded onto PCs without the need for TV capture cards and extra cabling. This is useful for news agencies, businesses, banks, etc.

Digital IP based networks are virtually immune to ghosting, noise, harmonics, cross modulation, reflections etc - problems that are all common in analogue systems. Some of these problems have been resolved using digital transmission across the coaxial networks, however, these still suffer from some of the above.

In brief the picture quality of a correctly installed IPTV system is superior to almost all other means of transmission.

John J Key runs Keydigital Productions, a Surrey based website design company and has just completed a website build for TV Over LAN. IPTV Technology is at the heart of their business.

Mini and microcar bumpers allow pricey damage; none of the 7 tested rates good under new system

Mini and microcar bumpers allow pricey internet caffe none of the 7 tested rates good under new systemSource: Insurance Institute for Highway SafetyUrban drivers often pick mini and microcars because they’re affordable, fuel efficient, and easy to park broadband support city streets. Fender-benders are hazards of urban driving, and just one of them can add up

It's upsetting...

Why?

Because there's money to be made from helping people get online faster. This can be a win-win situation but, greed (yes, greed) has kept mobile broadband companies from seeing it.

Allow kedai to explain.

Mobile broadband carriers usually give the following statement (or some variation of it) as the reason for having usage caps:

"1% use the majority of bandwidth making it difficult to provide service for normal users"

In the 'defense' of other users, they deem it necessary to create usage caps to make it affordable for them to provide quality service to the majority of users. speed up broadband there is some truth to this, it's a double-edged sword.

While a small percentage of the population users more bandwidth than others, the underlying assumption made by carriers is that they only consume and not produce. While there may be some that 'leech', there are others that 'seed' new content, ideas, and information that benefits their specialized niche (and in turn everyone else).

Does streamyx connection speed mean we should simply remove the consumers and leave the producers? No. Power consumers of the web also provide a benefit to the network. Without power users, networks would have no small business broadband to increase the capacity of their networks. Without a force to challenge the limits of what is currently available, nothing new will be produced. email to sms simple economics. Without demand, there will be no supply.

There's Money To Be Made Here

Here's another way to look at it.

Let's say Wal-Mart has 20 bags of chicken for sale. Most people buy 1 bag of chicken. However, there is one person who buys 10 bags of chicken. Single handedly, he has cut the supply of chicken available in half. Wal-Mart could react to this a number of ways. It could ration the amount of chicken someone can buy or it sell more chicken. By reducing it to this simplistic level, it's not hard to see that an opportunity to malacca malaysia exists here.

Without going too much into pricing strategies here, it is possible for them to survey power users to see what they would be willing to pay for increased consumption. This would offset the cost to them for increasing capacity. In addition to this, they can implement better systems/technology to reduce universally unwanted bandwidth consumption.

I'm talking streamyx no junk mail.

Junk mail, also known as spam, accounts for 80-85% of all email in the world by some conservative estimates. That in itself is an incredible opportunity for Internet Service Providers to reduce unnecessary bandwidth consumption mobile broadband uk their networks. It would save them a lot of money.

What The Future Holds

The estimated household is expected to use 200 Gigabytes per month by 2012. It's pretty obvious the current 5 Gigabyte cap on most mobile broadband plans in the United States will be grossly insufficient. A laughable joke a best. Adopting a usage cap based broadband marketplace will only stifle creativity on the internet as users contemplate the cost of doing business. While those with deep streamyx online services will be able to afford it, in effect, it is against net neutrality (free of restrictions on content, sites, or platforms, on the kinds of equipment that may be attached, and on the modes of communication allowed, as well as one where communication is not unreasonably degraded by other communication streams).

As prices rise in such an environment, it is the very average user that companies now claim to 'protect' who will bear the brunt of the financial and opportunistic costs. Companies need to seek alternative business models that are mutually beneficial for themselves and their users.

Penjual kuih didakwa rompak isteri Rexy Mainaky

Seorang penjual kuih mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Sesyen Kuala Lumpur terhadap pertuduhan cuba merompak isteri ketua jurulatih beregu badminton negara, Rexy Mainaky.

The astound broadband for streamyx mail mobile videos is broadband wireless access by a phenomenal rate. Recent findings show that global advertising for mobile porn could top $4.9 billion by 2013. With the advance in mobile technology kuala lumpur malysia handsets like iPhone tm streamyx customer service Blackberry and new innovations in mobile billing, the adult mobile videos industry is becoming extremely lucrative. So what and where is the future of adult mobile videos?

At the moment the vast majority of the global spend is focused in Europe, as the make money on the internet States is far behind in 3G coverage technology and imposing age restriction services means operators are not prepared to cope with adult advertising, hence there is a massive difference by comparison between Western Europe and the United States, each respectively accounting for 42% and only 2%.

It is not particularly clear how America will receive the next wave of adult mobile video services to their mobile viewing audience. And Far beyond the slight availability of the content is whether or not it will become acceptable, from a social point of view to walk across the road viewing adult content.

According to latest market information, from Bango mobile billing and analytics, contrary to the present successes of iPhone sales figures, the handset only accounts for 1.12% of all mobile downloads, I can't imagine that a huge amount for this small percentage is then adult content either. Being pretty much the most advanced mobile phone out there it goes without saying that there is potentially a huge target audience for adult mobile video which cogeco internet yet to be exploited. Perhaps the mobile technology barrier has still got a nasty grip?

It will be rather intriguing to find out just how much of the expected growth of the adult mobile industry come forth over the next few years. The ultimate fact is, mobile marketing is streamyx modem effective with industry standard "clickthru" rates of almost 10 times more than the average PC based internet advertising campaign. It can't be denied that if served up correctly, adult mobile content can be monetized exponentially by various methods including per download, credit card billing, mobile billing, monthly subscriptions and affiliate products.

Moving on from cari malaysia the generation of high quality adult content for the visitors wishing to download adult mobile videos is also important, however cable internet speed test the content across today's social networks is difficult but could open up a flood gate of traffic to adult sites. Where lies the future of adult mobile. The next generation of handsets hold the answer.

Gnashing Teeth At The TRAI

Giving streamyx contact number angst is its wake, about streamyx Indian regulatory authority is apparently not just burdened with acuity of mind but unfortunately lets it be known through a regular consultative & review process with webmail streamyx com industry. Halfway through the TRAIs August 2007 review on capping service providers and its clear this is not the India I bolted from in the Eighties. But the sizable part of that India still resident in the DoT does not like this one at all.

Equally unsettling for incumbent mindsets is the consistency threading through all TRAI free streamyx Reading TRAIs September 2006 review on allocation and pricing of spectrum for 3G & wireless broadband one sees an approach streamyx area competitiveness and transparency that echoes as resoundingly as in the August 2007 review mentioned in the above paragraph. One may quibble the conclusions but arguments are thought through and consistent across the Authoritys various reviews. As far as the TRAI is concerned it appears the New Telecoms Policy (NTP) of 1999 is nothing less than a Telecom Constitution and barring amendments, violation of statute isnt an option any more.

It is evident from the (NTP of 1999)" the TRAI says, "that there is no intention of placing any artificial streamyx web on the number of (mobile) access service providers. Clearly, the underlying theme is to ensure optimality for existing operators so as to provide good quality but at the same time it has not barred entry of new operators? With that, the August 2007 review disabuses incumbents from any hope of restricting membership to the cellular club.

The Indian businessman has a fine sense of smell, a whiff of faint opportunity being enough. The above opinion admitedly grants more than just a whiff. The gold rush began barely a few days following TRAI's 28 August 2007 announcement encouraging a free for all. 200 something license applications later the DoT must be asking TRAI Streamyx were they thinking. Speaking to the Indian Express, a senior DoT official termed the rush of applications as sheer madness?and said the Department would start scrutinizing these documents soon. DoT would screen the applicants once a committee appointed by communications minister A Raja comes up with fresh guidelines detailing the minimum net worth, ownership and other crucial aspects of the applicants.

By mid-September an overwhelmed DOT announced its intention to not accept any more applications after 1 October. Not, they hastily added, to cap applicants, but it made little sense accepting any more applications before the ones received could be processed. And, where was the spectrum to distribute amongst the aspirants?

But of course the TRAI begs to differ. At least it did in the August 28 document that started the stampede. I suspect they still do and view the mad rush with a sanguinity based on principled approach to licensing, allotment and pricing. Maintain course the TRAI suggests and Streamyx market forces resolve matters.

Only that its hard for many to let go of supply side thinking after so many years under a license Raj. So it may not be just market forces cajoling applicants to submit the forms in triplicate. Besides, its anyones guess how many of these stellar newbies are being grandfathered by incumbents to access additional spectrum.

TRAIs market driven thinking couldnt be any more at odds with the DoT mindset succinctly laid bare in their letter of 13 April. While it offically requests a review the underlying tone screams out:

1) Our concern is cellular and nothing but the two cellular life forms of GSM and CDMA.

2) Please oh please tell us we can cap applicants. Theres a shortage of spectrum and the incumbents ?those guys who always ante up when asked ?need it for themselves.

Well, we all know by now what the TRAI gave them instead. One must admit to a surreptitious glee visualizing DOT Babus drowning in paper though the deluge is really no fault of theirs, they being as intransigent towards an open market as ever before.

The TRAIs response to the DoTs concern on paucity of spectrum is to tighten the subscriber-linked criteria for additional spectrum thereby eliciting more howls of protest. But TRAI makes a case wonderfully quoting facts, figures and international precedence to show technological advances allow service providers to maximize bang for the buck from a given band of spectrum. Growth percentages annexed to the recommendations prove not only that such technology to maximize spectral efficiencies works but that much is already in use by Indian operators.

The flood of applications will abate and life in the DoT halls resume as before. Life for everyone though would be a lot easier if TRAI was the final arbitrator for spectrum allocation in keeping with established precedence elsewhere in the world. But the Government in their wisdom has held on to that power and so the last thing we want to hear from DoT is that they are overwhelmed. That, comes with the turf.

You Streamyx all set to play your favorite game and what do you see but the Xbox 360 red circle of death! Now, I know it Computer Tech Support very frustrating, but don't go pulling out your hair or anything! Keep on reading to find that relief is in sight! You CAN repair it easily!

Of course, if your XBox 360 is still under warranty, then by all means, send your XBox to support to have them fix it. Unless you don't feel like waiting 4 weeks for it!

Ok, moving on. One of the main causes of the XBox 360 red circle of Streamyx Support is overheating due to a sub-adequate ventilation system and a lot of heat producing components put into a small area.

To Streamyx keep your XBox 360 is good condition and hopefully preventing the problem, place your XBox 360 on a stand by itself with lots of space around it for it to breathe. If you feel the box getting hot, you can try Maintenance Contract a fan near the Xbox and having it provide a constant breeze to help cool the XBox.

Now that you know that a main cause is overheating, you will most likely understand why the towel method is not a very good method to use. You don't want to fry your XBox 360! The towel method is where you wrap your XBox with a towel and let it overheat until the solder inside the XBox starts to melt to that any missed connections are reset. As you can imagine, that temperature can get pretty high.

What I recommend if you are suffering from the XBox 360 red circle of death and your XBox is out of warranty, is to get a good repair guide on this matter. This allows you to repair your own XBox and it can be done in under 2 hours!

If your XBox is still under warranty, I would not recommend these repair guides because opening your Xbox will void your warranty. But if you don't want to wait 4 weeks to get your XBox 360 back, then these repair guides are well worth it. They are safe and it is a permanent fix.

There are numerous guides out there and I have rated the top 5 at my site red-ring-of-death.com.

Graduation Day

The Xbox 360 (sometimes shortened to X360) has been praised all around, and not without fault; put simply, it's a great machine.

The Xbox 360 has great graphical capability, processing power, and quite the fan base. Being owned and manufactured by Microsoft, it may be the best funded next-gen system, in the PR department (advertisements and the like).

When the Xbox (original) was first released, many consumers were skeptical, seeing as it was made by a computer company, and people just tended to separate computers from video game consoles on a large scale. Since then, the trust in Microsoft to create a genuinely great console has undoubtedly expanded.

The Xbox 360 has made people take a second look at what a good gaming experience is. With the blade user interface (soon to be replaced with a more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing and functional dashboard), there is so much that you can do, and also so much that Microsoft's Xbox team can do, in adding to it and expanding on what they have. But this is just the tip of the iceberg... Look further into the system and you'll find some things that were never even considered to be included in a gaming console before - Things other than games.

With the Xbox Live Marketplace, you can download movies (rental Streamyx Sign In purchase), TV shows, themes for your dashboard, icons for your gamercard, and even games (this is including original Xbox games that you can fully download to your console and "Xbox Live Arcade" games which are cheap little games that can keep you occupied for some time, and they're also integrated into the whole user experience, with achievements and the like). This really adds onto the entire entertainment experience, making your gaming console for more than just gaming. Plus, you can buy a pretty large hard drive for your console to store all that extra media. Oh, and the demos... You know how you walk into your local game store, hop onto a console, and play a demo of a game? Well, you can download all those demos for free in the Xbox Live Marketplace, as well. This is one of my favourite features, seeing as it really opens you up to new games, and some of the demos can be played over and over again for a free, fun gaming experience.

The Xbox 360 is mostly praised for it's wide selection of games. I can't find a way to confirm this, but to me, it does seem true. The selection is very wide, and a lot of the games are "Only On Xbox 360" games, which plays a large role in the sales of the console itself.

With the Xbox 360, you'll find games of all genres in good numbers, to please gamers of casual status to gamers of hardcore status (self-endowed, most likely). When it comes to game availability and genre coverage, this seems to be the champion, retaining consistent third-party support.

The console itself is competently stylish. It's easy on the eyes, but not anything to gawk at.

The layout of the buttons and inputs on the front of the console is very efficient and ergonomic, which is very important, and while I wouldn't shake a finger at how the back of the console is designed, it's nothing special (not a knock at the console, though; there's not much room for intuitive design here, nor does it really effect the console at all).

The games all support 1080p, which is fantastic. So, if you've got a spectacular TV, you won't be disappointed with the way your games look while you play them... Believe me, you'll actually be pretty consumed. Even with a standard TV, the games still look amazing, and you'll appreciate little details that some game developers pay mind to.

When it comes to price, the Xbox 360 goes across the scale. (Please note - The following figures are based on the time of writing. There is a good chance that they will change in the near future.) You can find refurbished or used consoles as low as $150, a new console with no hard drive for $200, a console with a 60GB hard drive for $300, or the Xbox 360 Elite (black finish with a 120GB hard drive) for $400. It really all depends on how much you want to spend... Or even what you feel is necessary. If you like the convenience of the 120GB hard drive, but prefer the white finish on the console (as I do), then you can just go for one of the choices other than Elite and purchase the hard drive separately.

The peripherals for this console are great, giving you options such as a steering wheel, wired/wireless controllers (also compatible as PC gamepads, with adapter for wireless, which is very cool if you're a PC gamer as well as a console gamer), wired/wireless headsets, and so on. You'll find the way you like to play. Since I've gotten my 360, I personally dislike playing with a wired controller on it. The wireless controller gives you so much freedom and ease of use... It's very nice. Although, there is the fact that you have to change batteries (although the rechargeable battery pack for the controller will fix this right on up, for a price).

The gameplay is generally very smooth. I've only ran into the game freezing a few times, and clearing the cache of the console fixed that up each time, so it's really not much of an issue.

Of course, there are instances where you'll be playing a game, move to a new area, and it will take a few seconds for the textures to load, which can really be a pain and seem to slow things down, but it's a small price to pay.

VERDICT:

All-in-all, the Xbox 360 is a fantastic choice for most gamers... Of course, it appeals more to hardcore gamers, but there are selections for those who choose not to participate in games that require constant attention and very quick jabs of the thumbs on the analog sticks.
